Administrator of the University of Coimbra appointed as member of the Heads of University Management & Administration Network in Europe

The UC administrator was elected by his national counterparts to represent Portugal in the Heads of University Management & Administration Network in Europe, an association that brings together more than 170 members from 24 countries.

The Administrator of the University of Coimbra, Luís Bento Rodrigues, has been appointed to represent Portugal in the "Heads of University Management & Administration Network in Europe - (HUMANE)".

Luís Bento Rodrigues was elected by his peers (the Administrators of the other Portuguese higher education institutions members of HUMANE) to represent the country in the Round Table, which is one of the governing bodies of the international association. The mandate lasts for two years.

"I am vey pleased with this appointment, as it is a recognition of the value of the University of Coimbra's Administration, giving the UC seat in an important network that represents the top managers of European higher education institutions", he comments.

Based in Brussels (Belgium), the Heads of University Management & Administration Network in Europe brings together more than 170 members from 24 countries, including prestigious European higher education institutions such as the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge (United Kingdom).
