Nuno Madeira, psychiatrist and researcher at the Coimbra Institute for Biomedical Imaging and Translational Research (CIBIT) of the University of Coimbra, is the winner of the FLAD Science Award Mental Health 2023, with a project that seeks to test, in a clinical trial, an innovative protocol for the treatment of cognitive-social symptoms of schizophrenia, using transcranial magnetic stimulation.
