"Canoeist For a Day": an adventure for cancer survivors

The activity takes place on the 3rd of June. Registration is free and runs until the 15th of May.

The Faculty of Sports Sciences and Physical Education of the University of Coimbra (FCDEF-UC) will host the event "Canoeist for a day" on the 3rd of June, in the scope of the European Project Outdoor Against Cancer Connect Us.

Based on the four pillars of a healthy lifestyle − Physical exercise and outdoor sports, balanced nutrition, physical and mental well-being, and a healthy environment (sustainability and nature) − FCDEF-UC wants to provide a different experience to young and adult cancer survivors, as well as their families and friends, in Montemor-o-Velho, the "canoeing capital of Portugal".

Participation is free of charge, but prior registration is required until the 15th of May. Click here to register.
