For five days, young researchers will have the opportunity to know and develop topics related to space technology. The "i4s - Iberian Space Science Summer School" takes place between July 26th and 30th, and will talk about Space Meteorology studies, as well as Sun-Earth interactions and their impacts on economic activities. It also aims to promote research with special emphasis on the Iberian Peninsula and mid-latitude regions, and also to strengthen scientific networks.

Due to the pandemic situation, the summer school takes place in digital format and applications are open until the 31st of May. The event counts with the participation of internationally renowned researchers in the subject, being the first event in Portugal to fully address this topic.

The "i4s - Iberian Space Science Summer School" has the support of the International Space Weather Initiative (ISWI) and the Scientific Committee on Solar-Terrestrial Physics (SCOSTEP).
