The UC & AAC Job Fair is an initiative of the University of Coimbra (UC), in collaboration with the Coimbra Academic Association/UC Students Union - Associação Académica de Coimbra (AAC), aimed at bringing together students and recent graduates with companies and other organisations in the job market. This year's edition will be held on Friday and Saturday (24th and 25th) from 10 am to 7 pm in Pavilion 1 of the University Stadium.
Over 70 companies and organisations (with job and internship opportunities in the fields of engineering, consultancy, technology, health, architecture, marketing among others) will be taking part in the event, which is open to the whole community and has free entry. The UC & AAC Job Fair will also include presentations, pitches, workshops, career advice areas and professional photo sessions (for CVs), as well as a street food area.
"The employability of our students and graduates is a matter to which the University of Coimbra is deeply committed. We want to ensure that our students have and develop all the skills they need to succeed in the labour market, and that employers recognise in them the excellence of the education they receive at the UC. With initiatives such as the UC & AAC Job Fair, which we have relaunched with the key collaboration of AAC, we hope to help bring students and graduates closer to employers," says UC Rector Amílcar Falcão
