BME IDEA Europe 2021 Conference takes place online during October and November as a webinar series.
The 2021 BME-IDEA Europe Conference, organised by the Special Project R&D International Networks of the University of Coimbra, is divided into four sessions (14, 21, 28 October and 4 November) focusing on local innovation ecosystems of different countries and organisations. Israel and Ireland will be the focus of the first session (Thursday at 17:00), where they will present the characteristics of their biodesign programmes and how they are linked to local innovation ecosystems.
The event will bring together participants from across the globe, including some of the world's most prestigious universities - such as Stanford University (which originally developed the methodology), Imperial College, Karolinska, Johns Hopkins, Leuven, Tokyo and others - as well as representatives from companies such as Sanofi, Novonordisk and Mayo Clinic.
