Workshop on Wood Construction: Architecture, Engineering and Sustainability to be held at the end of January

SerQ - Forest Innovation and Competence Centre, in partnership with the University of Coimbra, will be hosting the 'TimberWorQs - Wood Construction Workshop: Architecture, Engineering, and Sustainability.' The event is scheduled to take place on the 30th and 31st of January at the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Coimbra (DEC-FCTUC).

The workshop will feature national and international keynote speakers from the fields of architecture, engineering and timber sustainability who will share their insights and future outlook for the sector. The event will also include presentations of national and international timber construction projects, as well as cutting edge products and technologies available on the market.

The initiative targets various stakeholders in the timber construction sector, including producers, architects, engineers, consultants, builders, inspectors, researchers and others, and serves as a platform for sharing experiences and facilitating networking opportunities among participants.
