The Faculty of Sports Sciences and Physical Education of the University of Coimbra (FCDEF-UC) will organize the event "FCDEF Com Vida" (FCDEF With Life), aimed at cancer patients and survivors, their families and friends, in order to share information about the different sports modalities available, and to invite participants to try them out. The initiative will take place on the 25th of March, starting at 14h00, at the Coimbra University Stadium.

The event will start with a welcome session, followed by a sporting circuit where various sports activities can be tried out, ending with a friendly snack for all participants. Prior registration (until the 15th of March) is required for logistics reasons, available here (in Portuguese).

"FCDEF Com Vida" also aims to promote the free weekly physical exercise programme for cancer survivors, which the Faculty will be launching soon.

These initiatives are carried out within the EU4Health programme, in the scope of the European Project OACCUs (Outdoor Against Cancer Connect Us), in order to promote well-being for cancer survivors through exercise, healthy eating, psychological well-being and environmental sustainability.
